Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring the highest quality image.
  • Administer contrast media and enter complex data into computer systems.
  • Review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical quality and image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other technicians to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
  • Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)) certification.
  • Venipuncture certification or completion of a venipuncture course.
  • BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
  • Less than four years of recent experience in a similar role and setting, or a new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (CT Tech), or more than four years of experience (Sr. CT Tech).
  • Thorough knowledge of radiological computerized systems and applications.
  • Thorough understanding of various radiological systems, including PACS and RIS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification.
  • Five years of experience.
  • Hospital experience.
Special Conditions
  • Ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Compensation

Annual Full Pay Range: $121,355 - $150,816 (prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%); Hourly Equivalent: $58.12 - $72.23.
