We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Pelican Park Dental Care. As a leading provider of dental care services, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in LA and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
