This position plays a crucial role in supporting the hotel catering operations, including the organization and upkeep of all Catering Department documentation, supplies, and reports.
- Assist in the planning and execution of scheduled catered events
- Generate regular reports for the catering team
- Support team members with database management
- Handle incoming calls and provide necessary follow-up
- Assist in responding to various correspondence
- Oversee the purchasing process using the designated management system for the Catering Division
- Help resolve guest billing inquiries in the relevant system
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
WHAT WE SEEK:
- A solid understanding of food and beverage service standards
- Exceptional communication and writing abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
- Proficient in using office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to effectively communicate with guests and team members at all levels
