Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Seaport Dental Associates in Boston. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Assist the dentist with all aspects of four-handed dentistry, including taking x-rays, impressions, and Itero scanning.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and answer patient questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and plan ahead to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation and meet the needs of our patients.
- Track lab cases and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Conduct work in compliance with Infection Control, safety, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active BLS/CPR certification is required.
- State licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) is necessary.
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant.
