Job Summary

American Medical Staffing (AMS) is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide research-based treatment to various communication disorders in a school-based setting. As a primary school SLP, you will conduct speech and language evaluations, write and implement goals and objectives for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and provide classroom intervention support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address articulation, language, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide classroom intervention support
  • Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs
  • Provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to ensure effective treatment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current licensure as an SLP (or willingness to obtain GA licensure)
  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
