Service Technician Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable ag operation that prides itself on being a one-stop shop for all their customers' mechanical needs. This company works on a wide range of equipment, from small consumer lawn tools to heavy ag machinery. They are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy ag equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and planters.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or equivalent experience through school and/or internships.
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Additional certifications are beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

This position primarily works in the equipment shop. The employee may be required to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. At times, the employee may need to move or operate equipment to diagnose maintenance needs. The noise level in the shop environment is moderate to high.
