Position Details- Role: Respiratory Therapist
- Location: Northern Minnesota (Hybrid schedule)
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexibility. On-call and weekend duties as determined by management.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Licensing Requirements: LRT, BLS
- Utilize your clinical expertise and communication skills to support medically complex children and their families.
- Assist in the safe transition of hospitalized children to their home environment.
- Educate parents and caregivers on the use of medical equipment.
- Manage and oversee your own patient caseload.
- Conduct diagnostic studies in both home and hospital settings.
- Build lasting, personal relationships with your patients.
- Access additional certifications, continuing education units (CEUs), and ongoing training at no cost.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialed by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination within one year of employment
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has been delivering high-quality durable medical equipment (DME) and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990. Our mission is to enable our clients to thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. We primarily serve children from birth to 21 years old, many of whom require specialized technologies such as tracheostomies, ventilators, or g-tubes.
