Job Summary:- Lead a team of 4 MDs and 4 Nurse Practitioners in a brand new, 24-exam room facility.
- Collaborate with the existing Deer River team of 5 MDs (15 minutes away).
- Physician-led practice with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Call coverage: Hospitalist Call, 1 week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
- Clinic work in Grand Rapids and hospitalist work at a modern, 20-bed Critical Access Hospital.
- Optional opportunities: ER work, colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, and EGDs.
- EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine.
- The City of Grand Rapids, located on the banks of the Mississippi River, is approximately 80 miles northwest of Duluth and 175 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
- Grand Rapids has a population of 11,000 and a service area population of 45,000 (approx.).
- Grand Rapids is in the heart of Minnesota's beautiful resort and recreation area, with abundant park and recreation facilities.
- Over 1,000 lakes in the county.
