Your Role:

As a Surety Client Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management and execution of Commercial bonds, including license, court, and miscellaneous bonds. Your responsibilities will encompass data collection, form completion, and correspondence preparation. You will be instrumental in servicing and marketing both new and renewal Commercial Surety accounts, processing general indemnity agreements, maintaining power of attorney filings, and fostering strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist producers with new and renewal business in alignment with agency standards and workflows.
  • Manage all aspects of client requests for commercial and miscellaneous bonds.
  • Prepare and execute commercial and miscellaneous bonds for clients.
  • Communicate with surety company underwriters for approvals and related matters.
  • Establish and maintain client information within the agency management system.
  • Proactively follow up with clients for underwriter-requested information and documentation.
  • Process billing and invoices for new business, renewals, and cancellations while maintaining accurate account records.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to address accounting issues related to Bond accounts, including discrepancies and collections.
  • Work closely with surety companies to resolve any discrepancies in premiums or commissions.
  • Maintain Power of Attorney filings and ensure the supply of bond numbers.
  • Support other surety team members and perform various administrative tasks for the Bond Department.
Your Qualifications:

We are eager to connect with candidates who possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of insurance experience in both Contract and Commercial Surety.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days).
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous but not mandatory include:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in agency software such as Sagitta, Image Right, Surepath, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship.
