Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a RN in our CVICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
  • Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervises other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Strongly preferred experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
