About the Job

We are seeking a Staff Superintendent who will assist the superintendent with project execution, safety, and quality throughout preconstruction, construction, and close out activities. This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience but does require completed education in an applicable field. As a recent college graduate, you will have the opportunity to receive hands-on learning, mentorship, and growth within the company.

Job Functions
  1. Assist with pre-construction by reviewing plans and specifications, conducting pre-construction/safety meetings, and implementing and managing the Four Point Quality Control Plan.
  2. Assist with construction by establishing and verifying quality control programs, establishing and maintaining safety programs, conducting daily inspections, monitoring daily task schedules, overseeing subcontractor labor forces, and conducting weekly meetings.
  3. Assist with construction close-out by scheduling and coordinating punch list work, coordinating the timely completion of as-builts, reviewing and hand-delivering close-out documents, closing all site files, notes, and documentation, and initiating and coordinating demobilization of equipment and personnel.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Must have recently graduated from an applicable trade school within the last year or about to graduate
  • 0-1 years of relevant construction experience
  • Procedural knowledge of construction trades
  • Completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health training within the last 5 years or can complete within 6 weeks of employment
  • Current First aid/CPR certification
  • Proficiency in program management software such as Procore
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Intermediate proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Intermediate proficiency in problem-solving
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Must be willing to travel to additional project sites as needed
