The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing essential repairs and preventative upkeep to uphold the quality standards of the hotel. This role is vital in ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.

Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $18.00
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of recreational areas, including the pool and fitness center.
  • Ensure the exterior premises are free from litter and debris, including regular cleaning of parking areas, walkways, and entrances.
  • Identify and report any issues that may affect guest satisfaction.
  • Keep storage facilities tidy and secure at all times.
  • Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies and linens to ensure adequate stock on each floor.
  • Check and maintain the functionality of all outdoor lighting.
  • Address and rectify any safety concerns within the hotel premises.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels in the stockroom to support operations for at least two weeks.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience in maintenance is advantageous.
  • An Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
