The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing essential repairs and preventative upkeep to uphold the quality standards of the hotel. This role is vital in ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.
Compensation- Hourly Rate: $18.00
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of recreational areas, including the pool and fitness center.
- Ensure the exterior premises are free from litter and debris, including regular cleaning of parking areas, walkways, and entrances.
- Identify and report any issues that may affect guest satisfaction.
- Keep storage facilities tidy and secure at all times.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies and linens to ensure adequate stock on each floor.
- Check and maintain the functionality of all outdoor lighting.
- Address and rectify any safety concerns within the hotel premises.
- Maintain sufficient inventory levels in the stockroom to support operations for at least two weeks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience in maintenance is advantageous.
- An Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
