Job Summary

UNM Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Svcs team at the MATS Center. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized nursing care plans for psychiatric patients
  • Assess and evaluate patient behavior, activities, and mental status
  • Administer medication and treatment, and provide emotional support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional growth and development
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
  • 1 year of direct experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
