Job Title: Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage proposal opportunities and provide clients with firm qualifications, pricing, and estimating.
  • Visit project sites to stake boring locations and review site conditions.
  • Oversee projects to ensure budgets are managed.
  • Process and classify soil samples for further analysis.
  • Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments, including engineering analysis and report preparation, field exploration, and laboratory services.
  • Work on one or multiple projects at a time.
  • Perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests associated with geotechnical investigations.
  • Attend project site meetings.
  • Communicate with clients via phone or email.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field from an accredited/ABET school.
  • 3 years of Civil and/or Geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Prior experience writing geotechnical reports is required.
  • PE Registration is highly preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required).
  • Experience with performing soil classification.
  • Experience with applicable software programs for developing geotechnical engineering reports is preferred.
