Job Title: PD Nuclear Medicine Tech

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Somerville, NJ.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform various imaging procedures, including PET scans, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures, including PET scans, and ensure accurate and high-quality results.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, following strict protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with nuclear physicians to implement special imaging procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring maximum comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards.
  • Assist with non-technical tasks, as needed, and work overtime when required.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Current NJ State license, ARRT, and/or NMTCB certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Two years of hospital experience as a staff technologist, with PET experience a plus.
