Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Roq Virtual Staffing LLC. As a key member of our design and project management team, you will be responsible for providing engineering design on electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Provide engineering design on electrical engineering projects, including the preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, reports, and design review.
  • Project Management: Manage and assist with work on all phases of various electrical engineering projects, including design development, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the design team to incorporate design intent into construction documentation and specifications, and work with project managers during construction to respond to questions, provide clarifications, and review submittals and shop drawings.
  • Client Relationships: Meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop strong professional relationships and maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and project schedule.
  • Quality Assurance: Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews at different phases of project.
  • Business Development: Participate in marketing and business development activities, including the development of project proposals and providing technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Licensure: Registered Engineer; strongly prefer licensure in the state of Tennessee.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years' experience as an electrical engineer, with project management experience on design/build projects.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience using Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and knowledge of electrical engineer principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to interact professionally and comfortably, and build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
