About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing electrical design expertise on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical design and engineering services on projects
  • Manage and assist with work on all phases of electrical engineering projects
  • Coordinate with the design team to incorporate design intent into construction documentation and specifications
  • Work with the design team and project managers during construction to respond to questions, provide clarifications, and review submittals and shop drawings
  • Meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop strong professional relationships
  • Maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and project schedule
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy of technical documents through Quality Assurance reviews at different phases of the project
  • Participate in planning, cost development, and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
  • Contribute to marketing and business development activities, including development of project proposals and providing technical expertise
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience as an electrical engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Registered Engineer; strongly prefer licensure in the state of Tennessee and have the ability to obtain professional engineering registration in several states
  • Project Management Experience on design/build projects
  • Demonstrated experience using Revit Structure is essential
  • AutoCAD skills and experience are also essential
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and techniques
  • A complete understanding of integrated Construction Documents and how a complete set of drawings and specifications should communicate and quantify design intent
  • Demonstrated technical writing ability is desired
  • LEED Accreditation is certainly a plus
