**Role Overview**

A Building Services Technician with Aerotek is responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, including HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role involves responding to tenant requests, performing routine maintenance, and completing repairs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of HVAC equipment, including boilers, air compressors, and rooftop units
  • Painting of mechanical rooms, equipment, and piping as well as minor carpentry work
  • Performing weekly checks and exercising of fire pumps and emergency generators

The ideal candidate will have experience working on HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as knowledge of painting and minor carpentry. Strong communication skills are also necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and tenants.

**Work Conditions**

This position requires a flexible schedule, including Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm and on-call shifts once every 3-4 weeks. Reports to the Chief Portfolio Engineer, Property Manager, and Property Lead Engineer. The work environment includes exposure to various types of equipment, moving mechanical parts, hand tools, and hazardous chemicals.
