Job Overview:

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Serve as a Role Model: Provide exceptional patient care, following doctor's orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign tasks, ensure timely completion, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Director of Nursing: Work together to direct, coordinate, and supervise the Nursing Services Department.
  • Assume On-Call Responsibilities: Be available to address any concerns or issues that may arise outside of regular working hours.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all nursing services meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate; Registered Nurse with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification; ability to obtain certifications as required by facility policies.
  • Experience: Long-term care experience preferred; ability to supervise nursing staff and assure quality patient care.
