Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including instrumentation and controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including programmable logic control and distributed control system logic based controls.
  • Develop and implement procedures for maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of the power plant.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical systems maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical or instrumentation and control maintenance work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and electronic theory.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and process drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Computer skills and proficiency using MS Office products.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Working Conditions

The job can be physically demanding, involving movement of heavy equipment and carrying materials up and down stairs. Physical requirements include walking and climbing ladders, medium lifting, and working in dark, high-temperature environments.

Candidates should be able to lift and maneuver a 50-lb. load.
