Cardiovascular Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
Responsibilities- Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
- Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
- Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors, artifacts, and reacting appropriately.
- Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring equipment is properly functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, or Cardiovascular Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 3 months of hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
