Cath Lab Technician Job Description

Veracity is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement plans of care, documenting patient progress and communicating effectively with the medical team.
  • Facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment.
  • Set up and provide necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • RCIS certification and ACLS/BLS certification required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a cath lab or related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This is a 3-month+ contract position, working 40 hours per week with a 4-day workweek (Monday to Friday). The shift timings are 07:00 - 17:30 hours, with every third weekend rotation and holidays TBD.
