Position Overview:
This engaging role supports various functions related to the smooth and prompt execution of client orders as outlined by the sales process. Responsibilities may encompass design framing, generating design requests, selecting images, entering orders, coordinating vendor orders, and performing general customer service tasks. The position also involves preparing proposals under the guidance of a Principal, Project Consultants, and independently initiated proposals. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to manage multiple details from various sources and oversee project management effectively. This role does not entail initiating sales contacts.
The essence of this position is to act as a bridge between the sales and operations teams of the organization and the clients. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional presentation style, are essential. The candidate must thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales-related tasks: design, order entry, customer service, project management, presentation preparation, proposal development, and specification.
- Operations-related tasks: inventory oversight, vendor procurement, process design, and implementation.
The candidate will either possess or quickly develop the ability to consult with clients regarding artistic and branding images suitable for their commercial spaces.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has experience in sales, operations, and production within the commercial artwork, custom exhibits, or signage sectors. Proficiency in written and verbal communication is required, along with the ability to operate at a high level with technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as business software systems related to operational functions.
A degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, or Fine Arts is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The candidate in this role should be capable of receiving products in the designated area, moving products to staging areas, and lifting items onto production tables, carts, and overhead storage.
