Behavioral Therapist

The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence at Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Outpatient Behavior Technician - Developmental Disorders to provide behavioral support to youth and adult patients in our outpatient clinic. This role will work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized behavioral plans, focusing on therapeutic interventions and interactions tailored to the unique needs of our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in accordance with hospital policies
- Collaborate with the treatment team to collect and analyze data, informing the development of behavioral plans
- Implement sensory schedules and behavioral interventions as indicated by patient plans
- Respond to codes and follow code leader's direction
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
- License/Certifications: Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and current CPR and Safety Care certification
- Experience: 1+ year of experience working with youth and/or adults with developmental disorders preferred
