Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst II to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations from various authorities, including OSHA and DOT.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in conducting EHS training, providing guidance and consultation on EHS topics, and recommending corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate environmental, health, and safety hazards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments, field observations, and incident investigations to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
  • Develop and conduct EHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to front-line leadership on matters related to occupational safety, environmental compliance, and loss prevention.
  • Evaluate the organization's procedures, facilities, and equipment to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrections or additional precautions.
  • Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) events as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on EHS inspections, audits, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, protocols, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Able to travel between locations within region and other Cox locations across the country.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $64,200 - $96,400 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
