Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced automotive service environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of service selling and back shop associates to achieve sales and productivity goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet business team to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Provide coaching and training to associates to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in an automotive service environment.
  • Completion of a two-year college or technical program, or one to three years of service industry experience and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
  • Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.
  • Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment.
  • Enters and locates information on computer.
  • Presents information to small and large groups.
  • Visually verifies information, often in small print.
  • Safely operates a motor vehicle.
