At DSW, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Store Associate to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and results, while demonstrating behaviors that align with our company values of Accountability, Collaboration, Humility, and Passion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a positive in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors, redirecting associate behaviors to achieve store goals, and responding to customer requests and feedback with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards, completing daily open/close tasks, and ensuring all associates are providing the benefits of the DSW loyalty program to every customer.
  • Meet metric-based goals by reviewing, understanding, and clearly communicating daily/weekly/monthly goals, and able to clearly communicate business trends to Store Manager/Manager Leader.
  • Review daily communication, plan and assign tasks throughout the day, and follow through with required actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other leader.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years retail experience
  • Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism
