Job Title: Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, configuring, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting communications subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as RE for communications subsystems
  • Design, analyze, configure, test, document, and troubleshoot communications subsystems
  • Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement LOS and BLOS communication subsystems to meet mission objectives
  • Work closely with other engineers and technicians to install, configure, and test subsystems in development and test environments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 2 years of relevant engineering experience OR a Master's degree in a STEM field with 0 years of engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, installing, and operating LOS and BLOS communication systems in airborne military applications
  • Demonstrated experience with voice, military and network waveforms
  • Active, in-scope DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Special Program Access
  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with RF antenna design and performance analysis
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and demonstration activities
  • Experience with performance assessment through link margin and antenna pattern analyses
  • Ability to design select and characterize RF design to meet mission objectives
  • Experience with cryptographic implementations
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $71,400 - $107,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
