At James Hardie Building Products Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Regional Account Manager to join our team. As a key sales position, this role requires effective management and execution of a territory plan, cross-functional ownership of all single-family segments, and collaboration with peers and management to drive regional sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain key influential customers in targeted geographies and defend our business with them.
  • Target growth opportunities within the existing base and collaborate with growth reps to successfully transition accounts.
  • Support customers as they move to James Hardie products by eliminating barriers to conversion and creating a positive customer experience.
  • Utilize CRM tools to drive informed decisions that enable additional volume growth year over year.
  • Execute segmentation to evaluate and assess the market and lead all aspects of the customer sales process.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a high-touch sales environment.
  • Prior track record of success in an account management role.
  • Able to convey construction expertise and knowledge at job sites.
  • Strong sales mentality and understanding of the sales process.
  • High level of organization, discipline, and self-structure.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships at all levels in an organization and in differing environments.
