Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing and optimizing manufacturing workflows, processes, and protocols for the production of VIP aircraft interiors and precision machined components. The product range encompasses cabinetry, ceilings, sidewalls, galleys, lavatories, and various machined parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and establish operational sequences and procedures for product fabrication, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop manufacturing methodologies that incorporate statistical process control techniques.
  • Create machine routings that enhance efficiency, standardize tooling, and improve throughput.
  • Ensure all manufacturing plans adhere to customer specifications and comply with relevant industry and military standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and specifications to maximize equipment and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Support production teams with engineering insights to optimize manufacturing techniques for quality assurance.
  • Act as a liaison for manufacturing support.
  • Adapt machinery or equipment designs to suit production environments.
  • Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
  • Evaluate machinery, equipment, and tools for performance efficiency, initiating corrective actions as necessary to uphold product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory processes and procedures.
  • Create and modify solid models, assemblies, layouts, and detailed drawings.
  • Possess knowledge of quality and certification standards in regulated manufacturing sectors (e.g., AS 9100, FAA, ISO/TSI16949, ISO 9001).
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities coupled with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a machine shop setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Work Environment:

The working conditions are typical of a manufacturing, machine shop, and office environment. All employees are expected to follow safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment when necessary.
