Role Overview:
The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Team's objectives, which include enhancing Point B's brand visibility, fostering customer engagement across various channels, and generating sales leads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Craft clear and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice to support growth marketing and brand storytelling initiatives.
2. Assist the Senior Content Strategist in creating brand content for awards submissions, public relations, and company updates.
3. Manage the organic social media presence, ensuring high-quality content, balanced promotion of thought leadership, and regular performance analysis.
4. Support the execution of executive communication strategies on social platforms.
5. Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist to develop and implement an editorial calendar for recruitment and related content.
6. Promote lead generation campaigns across organic channels and encourage firmwide application of social media best practices.
7. Monitor employee sentiment on platforms and escalate concerns as necessary.
8. Write and test social media posts with effective calls-to-action and create compelling visuals to complement written content.
9. Edit content produced by others to ensure quality and consistency in tone and style.
10. Conduct competitive marketing research, including social media metrics, to inform strategies.
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. degree.
- 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a business-to-business context.
- Proficiency in contact management and social media tools.
- Familiarity with office productivity software, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and a positive attitude in overcoming challenges.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a strong customer-service orientation.
