  • Implementing nursing practices grounded in the latest evidence-based research, policies, and care standards to guarantee safe and exceptional individualized patient care.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, nursing peers, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions, care provided, and treatment strategies.

Qualifications

  • A valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, with a commitment to obtain it within three years of employment.
  • At least six months of relevant nursing experience is required, or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving patient needs, with a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of patients and their families.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills, dedication to ongoing professional development, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care are essential.
  • BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required within 60 days of employment.
  • National Certification in a specialty area is preferred when eligible.
  • Experience in telemetry is required, with a preference for candidates with cardiology experience.
