Customer Service Representative

The Banking Services Associate plays a crucial role in managing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and precise responses to customer inquiries.
- Engage in various routine tasks, including report reviews, correspondence preparation, and participation in departmental projects.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel, ensuring thorough follow-up with customers and staff.
- Assist clients with standard account-related requests such as stop payments, address modifications, online banking setup, and inquiries regarding account transactions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of and adherence to banking regulations.
- Achieve established standards for productivity, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships through referral initiatives.
- Utilize available resources and communication skills to address customer issues, minimizing the need for escalation.
- Exhibit respect and integrity in all interactions, fostering trust and upholding organizational values.
- Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion, promoting a respectful workplace free from harassment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, completing tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Perform duties safely, reporting any potentially hazardous conditions, and comply with occupational safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
- A High School Diploma along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Essential knowledge of banking operations and terminology.
- Familiarity with applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations and company policies.
- Working knowledge of retail banking systems and products.
- Intermediate skills in computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to banking transactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and train others as needed.
- Capability to address complex problems in non-standard situations.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- A valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance may be required for job duties.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $33,280 - $41,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Candidates may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives at the discretion of the company. A comprehensive benefits package is available, including paid leave, medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.
