Position Overview

The Banking Services Associate plays a crucial role in managing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver prompt and precise responses to customer inquiries.
  2. Engage in various routine tasks, including report reviews, correspondence preparation, and participation in departmental projects.
  3. Direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel, ensuring thorough follow-up with customers and staff.
  4. Assist clients with standard account-related requests such as stop payments, address modifications, online banking setup, and inquiries regarding account transactions.
  5. Maintain a strong understanding of and adherence to banking regulations.
  6. Achieve established standards for productivity, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  7. Identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships through referral initiatives.
  8. Utilize available resources and communication skills to address customer issues, minimizing the need for escalation.
  9. Exhibit respect and integrity in all interactions, fostering trust and upholding organizational values.
  10. Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion, promoting a respectful workplace free from harassment.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, completing tasks accurately and on schedule.
  12. Perform duties safely, reporting any potentially hazardous conditions, and comply with occupational safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Essential knowledge of banking operations and terminology.
  • Familiarity with applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations and company policies.
  • Working knowledge of retail banking systems and products.
  • Intermediate skills in computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to banking transactions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and train others as needed.
  • Capability to address complex problems in non-standard situations.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • A valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance may be required for job duties.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $33,280 - $41,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Candidates may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives at the discretion of the company. A comprehensive benefits package is available, including paid leave, medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.
