Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at CodeForce. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Essential Functions:
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
  • Teach patients and their families about health information, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Perform direct patient care, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families, maintaining confidentiality and respecting their privacy.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, recognizing the need for variations in staffing and volunteering to fill open shifts.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, taking appropriate actions in response to questionable findings or concerns.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Age-Related Competencies:

Demonstrate the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position.

Information Management:

Treat all information and data within the scope of the position with appropriate confidentiality and security.

Risk Management/Quality Management/Safety:

Cooperate fully in all Risk Management, Quality Management, and Safety Activities and Investigations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Ø Education - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Associate Degree or Diploma required.Ø Work Experience - One-year relevant experience, graduates accepted based upon position availability.Ø Training - N/AØ License - Current New Mexico License required or RN License with Multistate Compact privileges.

Ø Certification - BLS required. ACLS, PALS required or within 90 days of employment. TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Environmental Conditions:

Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
