Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Demonstrate the ability to identify age-specific patient needs, providing care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Treat all patient information and data with confidentiality and security, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Ø Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Associate Degree or Diploma required.Ø Work Experience: One-year relevant experience, graduates accepted based upon position availability.Ø License: Current New Mexico License required or RN License with Multistate Compact privileges.Ø Certification: BLS required, ACLS, PALS required or within 90 days of employment, TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Environmental Conditions:

Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood or other body fluids.
