Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in the Oncology Transplant unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice
• Practice safe medication administration and assess patient responses to medication
• Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination
• Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation

Requirements

• BSN Degree preferred
• State Issued RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Conditions of Employment

Selected candidates will be required to undergo a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. Additionally, Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
