Job Summary:

The Director of Coordination is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Coordination Department. Key objectives include meeting financial targets, leading staff, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires a decision-maker who can lead and motivate others, as well as stay up-to-date with complex licensing rules and funding programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in promoting professional growth, efficiency, and job satisfaction among staff.
  • Monitor and facilitate monthly staff in-services.
  • Maintain a strong liaison between the Governing Body, Quality Assurance Committee, staff, and the community.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all employees.
  • Monitor adherence to policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee quality services.
  • Establish a safe and positive working environment that meets local ordinances and fire regulations.
  • Promote strong working relationships with existing contracts.
  • Maintain practices to enhance employee morale and foster a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to apply them.
  • Ability to expand and build business relationships.
  • Emotional and mental maturity for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients, caregivers, and administrative staff.
