Job Summary:
The Executive Culinary Director is a key member of the Eataly North America team, responsible for overseeing all back of house operations across multiple restaurants and kitchens. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure quality standards and financial goals are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and organize the back of house strategy to maximize profitability and quality
- Manage a team of Chef de Cuisine to drive success in their individual outlets
- Develop recipes and menus focused on Italian authenticity, seasonality, and high-quality ingredients
- Partner interdepartmentally with senior leadership and corporate teams to execute initiatives, plan special events, and share information
- Analyze financial data, build a budget, and develop strategies to increase efficiencies and profit
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Restaurants to create a seamless and efficient restaurant experience
- Prepare updates on restaurant success for senior and corporate leadership
- Participate in employee hiring, assignment, training, payroll, scheduling, evaluations, and terminations
- Document, investigate, and resolve employee and guest incidents
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills

- Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies to increase profitability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
