Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 QMS activities.
- Collaborate with other plant quality managers to maintain and update process flow maps, control plans, and FMEAs.
- Respond to customer complaints and rejections, including collecting samples and determining disposition of material in question.
- Manage in-house/outside processor rejects related to supplier defects, including coordinating documentation and initiating claims to suppliers.
- Assist sales, operations, and purchasing with customer complaints and quality-related issues, including corrective actions requested by customers.
- Track both internal and external corrective actions, produce reports for monthly quality council meetings, and manage material placed on hold for any quality reasons.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in metallurgy or three to five years of quality/metallurgy related experience and/or training in the steel processing industry required.
- Practical experience with carbon steel specifications such as ASTM and SAE Industry Standards necessary.
- Strong background in the application and auditing of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Systems required.
- Exceptionally good problem-solving skills and additional background in lean manufacturing techniques a plus.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
