Position Summary:

As a Mini Melts Route Operator, your primary responsibility will be to visit designated customer sites to ensure satisfaction with our products, equipment, and services. Building and nurturing strong customer relationships through effective service techniques and industry knowledge is essential to represent Mini Melts positively. You will be tasked with collecting, securing, and transporting funds from serviced vending machines and Grab N Go units to the office. Additionally, you will operate vehicles to deliver products and equipment, monitor inventory levels, and perform preventive maintenance to reduce spoilage. Accurate record-keeping of inventory and product movement is crucial, as is maintaining open communication with management regarding service and repair needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis.
  3. Document and stock all vending machines and Grab N Go units effectively.
  4. Keep precise records of truck inventory and product distribution.
  5. Safeguard and transport funds collected from vending machines and Grab N Go units.
  6. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, ice scraping, and updating signage on vending machines and Grab N Go units.
  7. Handle minor repairs and maintenance for all vending machines and Grab N Go equipment.
  8. Facilitate the delivery, relocation, and installation of vending machines and Grab N Go units.
  9. Engage in regular communication with management regarding daily operations and any issues encountered.
  10. Ensure all necessary tools are available and report any additional requirements to management.
  11. Maintain accurate documentation of logs, inventories, and purchase orders as per management directives.
  12. Utilize handheld devices effectively and communicate any training needs or issues.
  13. Adhere to varying start times and weekend work as dictated by customer requirements and management requests.
