DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in the Richmond, VA area.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days of onsite work and 3 days of remote work.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and the vendor team to ensure that business and technical requirements are gathered and delivered for the Data Exchange and Modernization Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data stewards to create data dictionaries
  • Meet with stakeholders to document report requirements
  • Work with the business and IT teams to understand and document current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting
  • Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to data governance and security standards
  • Develop strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders through effective communication and active listening
  • Utilize SQL querying skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence to drive insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative and ownership over work

  • 8 years of adaptability and continuous learning, with the ability to adapt to changes in the project
  • 8 years of customer service orientation, with the ability to deliver value to stakeholders and end users
  • 4 years of experience serving as a business analyst on data management projects
  • 4 years of technical skills, with the ability to retrieve, manipulate, and combine data from multiple sources using SQL

Desired Skills:

  • 2 years of familiarity with healthcare data

This position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
