Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at San Jose Arena Management. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our venues, including the SAP Center and Tech CU Arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including sweeping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of all areas throughout events, including restrooms, concourses, and seating areas
  • Provide on-site maintenance support during events, promptly addressing issues such as spills
  • Remove waste trash and recyclables and dispose in proper locations
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms as assigned
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift leads, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Participate in the teardown and clean-up of event spaces, including removal of trash, cleaning surfaces, disassembly of tables and chairs, and returning spaces to their standard layout

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules
  • Ability to process information in an organized and efficient manner
  • Ability to think and react quickly in any situation
