Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the quotation and ordering process for spare parts and repairs.
2. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests for quotations, adhering to departmental protocols.
3. Generate quotes for spare parts and repairs for both new and existing machinery.
4. Process orders and quotations through the MRP/ERP system, overseeing the entire workflow from receipt to delivery.
5. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
6. Coordinate logistics for the delivery of parts from suppliers to customers.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; vocational trade school education is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with quotes and estimates is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.
- Strong communication, mathematical, and computer skills are essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
