Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations for the Massachusetts Juvenile Courts, including status matters, child abuse and neglect cases, juvenile delinquency, and emergency civil commitment evaluations.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with judges, probation officers, and attorneys to ensure the best possible outcomes for youth and families.
  • Provide training and consultation services to clinical staff, judges, probation officers, and other court personnel on topics related to forensic mental health and assessment.
  • Supervise work-study students, trainees, and interns, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice social work in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Strong background working with children, adolescents, and families, with a particular emphasis on cultural humility and social justice.
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Location:

Norfolk County Juvenile Court Clinic in Dedham, MA.
