Job Description

The Clinical Social Worker (CSW) plays a vital role in assisting patients and their families navigate the complexities of healthcare. With a focus on emotional and mental well-being, the CSW provides personalized support and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive discharge plans
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to patients and their families
  • Assess and address social determinants of health that impact patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program
  • Licensure as an LCSW or LICSW in Massachusetts
  • 2-3 years of post-master's experience preferred
  • Knowledge of adolescent, adult, and older adult patient needs and behaviors
