As a Field Engineer at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, you will be an important member of a small/lean engineering team responsible for the planning, integration, and execution of activities to support events, experiments, and demonstrations at the LM Center for Innovation (CFI). Your duties will include assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, including the operation and maintenance of simulation, audio/video, and core infrastructure systems in a customer collaboration environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with other members of the Tech-Ops team to achieve CFI stakeholder objectives.
- Implementing and supporting Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed.
- Working successfully in an environment requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
- Using sound technical knowledge and skills along with established processes/tools to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- Experience in hardware, software, and audio/visual setup.
- Experience supporting infrastructure installation, maintenance, and repair in a customer-focused lab environment.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical, systems, and schematic drawings/documentation.
- Experience with Linux and Microsoft systems/products.
- Able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills
- Proven hardware and software support experience in fast-paced/reconfigurable lab environments.
- Network configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with complex A/V systems/environments.
- Demonstrated experience with simulation systems/training devices.
- Experience working in classified/access controlled facilities.
