Job Overview

North West Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide high-quality in-home care to our clients. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and dietary monitoring
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Assist with bathing, toileting, and general hygiene
  • Provide ambulation and mobility assistance
  • Remind clients of medication schedules
  • Transport clients to and from medical appointments
  • Assist with grocery shopping and other errands
Requirements
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successfully pass drug and criminal background screening
  • Ability to work 2 weekends per month on a team-based rotation
  • CNA license (current or expired) or 1 year of verifiable experience as a trained PCA or completion of PCA training program
