Job Overview

Position: Threat Intelligence and Modeling Cyber Security Engineer


We are seeking a skilled Threat Intelligence and Modeling Cyber Security Engineer to enhance our dedicated team. This position is fully remote and requires candidates to be based in the U.S.


Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and performance in technical evaluations.

Remote Work: 100% remote opportunity, providing support to various initiatives.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in red team operations, in-depth knowledge of kernel and operating system internals, and networking.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, or Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough threat modeling, focusing on workflows, business processes, and technical security frameworks.
  • Report on identified vulnerabilities and collaborate closely with the Information Security Office to safeguard user, software, and network assets.
  • Familiarity with NIST methodologies for conducting assessments across physical, network, application, and social engineering domains.
  • Plan, recommend, and implement effective security countermeasures.
  • Utilize industry-standard cybersecurity practices to provide actionable recommendations for system security.
  • Stay informed about current cybersecurity trends relevant to our operations and security posture.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; 8 years of experience is preferred.
  • Technical expertise in red team operations, kernel and operating system internals, and networking.
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Industry certifications such as Security+, OSCP, and CISSP are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Kali Linux and experience in penetration testing.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance based on organizational guidelines.
