Chemical Blending Technician Job Description

Link Staffing is seeking a skilled Chemical Blending Technician to join our client's team in a stable and recession-proof industry. As a Chemical Blending Technician, you will be responsible for blending and mixing various chemical formulations using a blend sheet or recipe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blend and mix chemical formulations using a blend sheet or recipe
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the batch area
  • Monitor tank activities and complete tank inventories daily
  • Weigh and meter blend components using volume meters and/or load cells
  • Handle and pump a variety of chemicals from water to extremely hazardous items
  • Use and be familiar with chemical pumps and material handling devices to transfer/transport blending materials
  • Hook up tanks and hoses to blend and/or package the desired product
  • Trace fill lines to ensure accurate hook-ups and transfers
  • Monitor blending operations, mixing times, temperatures, and fill levels to ensure safety

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent
  • Chemical Process experience (1 year preferred)
