Overview
  • ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated Bartender for the Boeing Center at Tech Port. The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service during events, ensuring customer satisfaction and precise transaction accounting, including inventory management, in line with ASM Global's Universal Service Standards and Operational Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage individual beverage stations.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly.
  • Adhere to all applicable liquor regulations.
  • Monitor and manage liquor inventory accurately.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
  • Follow safety protocols within the work environment.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to patrons.
  • Report to Food & Beverage personnel in designated attire for the assigned location.
  • Prepare all beverage offerings for sale at the station.
  • Process sales according to ASM Global pricing standards.
  • Receive and manage cash and/or tickets accurately.
  • Conduct cash and inventory verification with a supervisor.
  • Ensure cash register settings align with ASM Global approved pricing.
  • Comply with all regulations pertaining to beverage operations and ASM Global's Food and Beverage Division.
  • Request identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • TABC certification is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
  • Mathematical skills to accurately count and manage cash are required.
  • Familiarity with bar operations is essential.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively execute tasks.
  • Proficient in English to communicate with customers and staff.
  • Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Exhibit a positive, customer-focused attitude consistently.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation practices.
  • Maintain grooming and dress code standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality in a team setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with other staff members.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to navigate the facility, stand for long periods during events, and engage in conversation. This role may involve working indoors or outdoors, depending on event requirements. Physical tasks may include bending and lifting, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. to waist height.
